Noise Control Skin is an innovative seven-layer material, created using the "DLT - Dissimilar Layer Technology", based on a foil layer and foam-filled polyethylene, bonded together by a moisture-resistant adhesive layer. The foil layer, like in vibration insulation, is the best sound wave reflector, and the foam-filled polyethylene provides noise and thermal insulation properties. Two mastic layers of different formulations, which have proven themselves, are applied in the "sandwich". The upper layer consists of innovative lightweight mastic, protected by a laminated acoustic membrane made of high-density isotactic polypropylene, while the lower layer is adhesive mastic with maximum adhesion, covered with anti-adhesive paper. The sound-laminated membrane guarantees not only insulation from external noise but also protection of the "sandwich" surface from mechanical impacts and moisture penetration. NC SKIN is a highly effective multi-layer material of a new generation that does not require prior installation of vibration insulation. For standard car soundproofing, applying in one layer is sufficient!
